OnePoundEmail DNS Records Overview

Configuring your DNS records is essential for ensuring that your OnePoundEmail account functions correctly. You can find the necessary DNS records in your OnePoundEmail welcome email or within the DirectAdmin control panel.

MX Records

MX (Mail Exchange) records are crucial for directing email to your server. Each customer may have different MX records, so it's important to check your welcome email and the DNS Management section in DirectAdmin.

Here’s an example of what the MX records might look like in your email:

  • safari.mxrouting.net (Priority 10)
  • safari-relay.mxrouting.net (Priority 20)

SPF Record

Your SPF (Sender Policy Framework) record is a TXT DNS record at the root domain. You can use one of the following basic templates for your SPF record:

  • v=spf1 include:mxroute.com -all
  • or
  • v=spf1 include:mxlogin.com -all

DKIM

Your DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) key is unique to each domain. You can obtain your public DKIM key in DirectAdmin under DNS Management. For detailed instructions, follow the tutorial linked below:
