Setup OnePoundEmail with Cloudflare DNS

Managing your DNS records through Cloudflare is straightforward. Follow the steps below to set up your OnePoundEmail account effectively.

Step 1: Log in to Your Cloudflare Dashboard

  1. Navigate to Cloudflare and log in to your account.

Step 2: Select Your Domain

  1. Click on the domain you wish to manage.

Step 3: Remove Pre-existing MX Records

  1. If applicable, delete any pre-existing MX records to avoid conflicts.

Step 4: Locate Your New DNS Records in DirectAdmin

  1. Access your DirectAdmin account.
  2. Find the DNS Management page in the navigation bar or use the search menu.

Step 5: Copy Your MX Records to Cloudflare

  1. In DirectAdmin, locate your new MX records, which will look something like this:
    • mx safari.mxrouting.net 10
    • mx safari-relay.mxrouting.net 20
  2. Add these records to your Cloudflare DNS settings as MX records.

Step 6: Copy Your SPF Record to Cloudflare

  1. Find your SPF record in DirectAdmin's DNS Management page.
    • v=spf1 include:mxroute.com -all
  2. Add this record to your Cloudflare DNS settings as a TXT record.

Step 7: Copy Your DKIM Record to Cloudflare

  1. Locate your DKIM record in DirectAdmin.
  2. When copying your DKIM record to Cloudflare, ensure you do not include any quotation marks, as Cloudflare will autofill these upon saving the record.

By following these steps, you will successfully configure your DNS records for OnePoundEmail using Cloudflare.
